Deon Boakye (né le 9 mars), né Gideon Adade-Boakye, est un chanteur ghanéen de Highlife, Afrobeats, Afro-Pop, auteur-compositeur et graphiste. Il est connu pour son single GONE qui a une version française.
Deon Boakye est né à Kumasi. Il a été inspiré par l’amour et la passion de sa famille pour la musique. À l’âge de 7 ans, ses parents l’inscrivent à un cours de musique à l’église, ce qui lui permet de développer son intérêt pour la musique.
Deon Boakye a débuté sa carrière solo avec le single “Allewa”, sorti en 2009 avec Cabum. Il a collaboré avec plusieurs artistes primés tels que Medikal, Strongman, Flowking Stone, Ko-Jo Cue, Pappy Kojo, Kinaata et Samini.

Deon Boakye was born in Kumasi. Inspired to do music from the love for it and passion for music in his family. At the age of 7, his parents signed him up to study music at church and he further developed interest for music.
Deon Boakye’s debut solo career with single ‘Allewa’ was released in 2009 with feature from Cabum. He came out with other singles like Dubai, New Year and Awure ,nominated for ‘Unsung Artiste Award’ at the 2017 Ghana Music Awards.He has features collaborations with several award-winning artists such as Medikal, Strongman, Flowking Stone ,Ko-Jo Cue, Pappy Kojo,Kinaata and Samini.
